Spokey Dokes : ウィキペディア英語版 | Spokey Dokes
Spokey Dokes were bicycle accessories from the 1980s, popular with children. They were round, plastic beads that attached easily (by snapping in place) onto bicycle wheel spokes. The idea was created by a California man, Larry Harmen. He was able to develop the prototypes and then license it to a toy company. Mr. Harmen attended Washington High School, in Fremont, California, graduating in Class of 1967. When the bicycle user then pedaled at a slow speed, the beads slid up and down the spoke, resulting in noise. They came in a variety of colors, including glow in the dark.
